Do you guys know where to get the best disc brake kit for 14 inch wheels? The car has manual drums all the way around. I’m wanting to go to power with discs in the front.
The OEM style is the only thing that will fit. Even with that, you need to make sure your 14” rims clear the calipers and caliper brackets. They made some factory wheels back then that did not clear.
I bought "the Right stuff" front disc brake conversion kit. It bolted to original drum brake spindles and advetises it works on 14 wheels. It was about $500-$600 came with a booster, master cylinder, valve set up, caliper, rotors, rubber lines etc. I bought all new brake lines as well from inline tube. I have 14 inch Buick Rally wheels and every bolted up and works great. Not a stock look but performs well and was easy to install. I think i got mine from Summit but they are on ebay, Jegs and other sites.
