I'll try a post here.I've got a king Demon 1190 on a 464 stage 2 W/308S.SPX manifold. Does this carb work well ? Is it easy to tune? I havent fired the engine up yet.
I used a 1000 race demon on my last motor. Best carb I ever have had bar none !! Once I got to know someone at BG in tech, things got really easy in regards to tips and help too. I think you'll like it.
There's an old saying I use now and then. It goes "The good news is it's adjustable, the bad news is ... it's adjustable!" In other words, if it doesn't run quite right, don't blame the carburetor. It just needs an adjustment. The BG Demons have lots of adjustments. Learn what to use and what not to mess with. Then use that knowledge to your advantage. They are very capable carbs. That's about the right size for your motor, too. Now you just have to tune it. If you get in a bind, either call BG Tech or ask your question on this board. Someone is bound to be able to help you.
