Has anyone picked up anything, like a car, from a large port such as Baltimore?
Anyone do this as their day job?

I live in Glen Burnie, MD which is about 20 minutes from the port. I have delivered excavators to the port and have also picked up excavators, dozers, off-road haul trucks, skid steers and even a few shipping containers. It's been a few years since I've been in there and my TWIC card expired.
    Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
I don't think it's too big of a deal to renew the card but it does cost a couple hundred.
May be able to find someone with a current card to pick something up and get it out of the port and then haul it from there. Used to know some brokers who could get it done.

I shipped a pick up and all my tools to Houston when I moved to the states some years ago . the actual shipping process wasn't to painful and it all got there
in one piece . picking it up however was something else . the most rudest and unhelpful people ever .... for real . they just plodded along at their
own slow place knowing that I was waiting on them to pick up my stuff and get home and there was nothing I could do but wait .
don't even hint about maybe moving things along a little quicker or they'll just take their sweet time even more . anyway that was Houston , I'm sure they're not all that bad .
