The tops ones are riveted in and the replacement ones bolts in. I had to drill the 4 holes larger to use the bolts in the uppers. The bottoms pressed in and were very tight but I wnet slow. The car is not on the road yet but they are in.

Be very very careful pressing lower Ball Joints

I pressed a set in and I'm not sure if I had the wrong size collars on the big C-clamp and fractured the metal, but 6 months after the right side lower arm broke off right past the ball joint as I was backing.
I had a loose feeling for 2 months, I scearched every square inch of the right wheel and I could not figure it out, until the wheel dropped
The crack started on the back side and worked its way to the center (as long as I drove foward it didnt tear any more but every time I backed up and turned the wheel hard it ripped a little more until that day when I cut the wheel hard and tore it right off
    Sure did ruin my weekend!
