I recently bought a 1962 Invicta. The car is far from mint condition it needs new interior paint job etc.
Long story short I've discovered the gas tank is rusting through and has holes in it so obviously need to drop and replace the tank. it appears there is some type of sway bar that I need to remove to be able to drop the tank is anybody familiar with this its been forever since I've had to wrench on a car like this so if anyone has some pointers I could sure use them

Have no idea whats involved with dropping the tank in your car but if I was in you're shoes id start by removing whatever is in the way then disconnect any and all hoses, straps and drop that bad boy outta there. Also, Welcome to the group!

Welcome back. Try buying the service manual or chassis manual for your 62. Look online -If you can find it I have a phone number of a business in my home state California that reprints and sales old car manuals. The book will be your best friend.
