Pretty comical and yet sad at the same time. The snowflakes would throw a fit, not due to the satire, but due to the fact his jacket says Christmas on it and therefore is not inclusive to those of other beliefs, and he also addresses the female as "baby", which is demeaning and objectifying.
Good greif, I spent too many years at a bigtime PC corporation that I can actually identify that BS. :eek:o_O:confused::( I'm actually ashamed of myself for pointing that out!

Gotta go, time to watch blazing saddles or something....

I'm not saying I believe that garbage I posted!! Just relaying the kind of crazy view points I've seen pertaining to such things. I find it sad that folks make these videos due to made up controversies. Heck, I make a point to say "Merry Christmas" almost daring to get some sideways comment in return. If Christmas ain't your thing, that's fine by me. But it is my thing, so deal with it!:p

And no smoke here, unless it's a nice smokey scotch...

Had to dip a blunt in that smoky scotch after that LOL.

We had diversity training at the generating station and I was informed
"you dont need to go...". I worked with all kinds of people including women, and no one ever had a bad thing to say about me, but everyone knew where I stood. Hell, I used to invite co-workers of all races, genders and creeds out on the yacht for fireworks shows or a day at the beach and even on my own time, I behaved. I didnt need no diversity in my life... ws

    Man aint that the truth!
I do the same thing, I'll decide if its "appropriate" to say "Merry Christmas" to a cashier or whomever, but why should I even have to stop and think about it?
Im gonna start saying "I hope you crap your pants later" see how that sits with 'em:eek:

I simply tell people “happy holiday” It’s a term that has been used for decades and until recently when the Radical Christians got all up in arms when they realized the holidays “were not all about then” Then all the sudden that became a forbidden phrase Along with every other Christmas and holiday greeting that has ever been used. Happy holidays simply covers everything . So whatever greetings people wish to give me is all well and good, I simply reply happy holidays to you as well. When It comes right down to it, it’s really only the Radical Christians that get offended, No one else seems to really care what greeting is used.

If it wasn’t for situations like this most of us would have never been born. How in the hell can a guy get lucky these days? Let the woman make all the moves? :DGlad I am married.

Why would any kind of Christian get upset over "Happy Holidays" which is short for happy holy days. Somebody's reasoning is a little flawed here!

Serious question - Has anyone actually gotten offended because you said Merry Christmas?

I said Merry Christmas to a Jewish guy the other day in fact. He was wearing a Yakima and had a calendar on his wall in Hebrew. Was it culturally insensitive for me to assume he was Jewish? He wasn't offended. Just as I wouldn't be offended if he had said to me Happy Hanukah. Who cares? The majority of people out there are pretty laid back about all this stuff. Its the fringe whackos that represent .5% of the population but wind up making the most noise. And the 99.5% of the population feels compelled to bend to their demands

That's my experience too. I have yet to meet someone who got all bent out of shape because I said Merry Christmas. At worst I'll get a I'm not Christian, I'm ... But that is rare. Most just go with the flow.

Does anyone really get offended by 95% of the things that people are now finding offensive for some reason? The small minority of "offended" people feel that they represent the rest of the people and its all about them. Well they don't represent me.

I don't find it radical to say Merry Christmas, you really need to dig deep to come to that conclusion. That is part of the problem, people digging deep to find an issue where it does not exist and then feeling empowered to force it on everyone else. I never said Happy Holiday's no matter how "trendy" it may be, its Merry Christmas! I am just waiting for the day when December 25 will need to be changed to "Holiday" :p

Here comes the thread lock :D

I always found it made good business sense to send out basic Happy Holiday or Seasons Greetings cards, I had a large number of non-christian customers and of course many more that I didn't know what they celebrated - one doesn't know what little thing can cause a customer to walk, and I didn't feel like enough of an ass to send Merry Christmas just to feel I got one over on people. Wonder how open many of you would be to someone telling you to have a blessed Ramadan.
