    Good morning all,
Hoping for some insight on the ports on the B4B manifold.

I have the front ports set up with the coolant temp switch at the thermostat housing and the heater hose at the lower port however I think that should be reversed or the heater hose moved to the port at the rear?
I am not going to use the TVS

What part number is the grommet for the PCV?

Should I buy/reuse the pcv preformed hose or other option?

Did the 455 have a second throttle return spring? I think I read that somewhere. If so does someone have a picture of the set up
Also reuse springs or does anyone have the part numbers for replacement

Lastly the two small raised pedestal bolt holes behind the carb are for what?

    Thanks everyone

    Kevin

Makes no difference whatsoever what ports you use. Some late sixties Buick engines had the heater hose connection at the back. Use whatever is convenient/ aesthetically pleasing to you.

I would use the preformed stock hose if you have it and it is in good condition.

    PCV grommet,

Yes dual springs available in the Help section of any parts store, or from Greg Gessler,

The two holes behind the carburetor are for the throttle cable bracket. actually, one is just a guide hole, the other takes a bolt and is threaded.

Griding the intake like that does nothing , if you use an open thick base plate gasget.
