Does this look like it is the lower portion of the 70-72 shifter? I found one for mine but someone had sent me this picture as well but I was not sure what it is, it was in a 70 buick skylark convertible.

I agree. Bag and label those screws. They are originals. Everyone loses things like that. How did it get so rusty?
