Hey Kerry, I'm thinking about buying a ProCharger Kit for my 455. I know you were doing this. Did you go with the D1 or the F1 or ? Also, had you started making bracket for the setup? Did the Chevy Brackets give you a good start? I was going to by stage 2 heads, but I've decided the charger will give me more bang for the buck right now. Any pointers you could give me about mouting it up that will save me time fabricating stuff would be GREAT! Also, did you shop around? where did you find the best price on them? Thanks, Rich
Rich, Check in with Mike T - he's doing all the 'leg work' on a ProCharger setup including brackets! He was at the GS Nats this year with a display on the ATI ProCharger for the Buick V8's. Very pleasant guy to talk to - knowledgeable too!!:TU: :TU: I believe his kit will be out this month or next - price looks to be reasonable too!!
Hi Guys, Rich........Sorry for the delay in responding, somehow I've overlooked this thread.o No: With the break-in that occurred earlier this spring, it's pretty much ground that project to a hault for the time being (but...it has got me going on my BBB Regal project instead). I had not had a chance to start constructing brackets and such. Mike T. is going to make them for me as soon as my insurance co. settles up and I am able to start that all-over-again.:af: BTW......Mine is a D3-M unit. Again I'm sorry I overlooked this thread.ou:

pro charger hi guys some months ago approx 9 i got a complete pro charger set up for my electra ant purcased it knowing that it was made for a 400 chevy withe 10.25 comp kit is complete and uninstalled i had the lower pullt machined to fit the harmonic balancer also i got the huge air cooler and new carb, allmost all this stuff is still in the boxes i spent 2700 for all the goodies any body want to buy it for less?? the main reason for not finnishing is no time i run a small auto repair shop and work way to many hrs and retrofitting this stuff takes time plus my car is torn apart while im doing any thing to it and cannot find any body to help with the nail head install the unit is a self contaned unit no hoses to plumb into your oil pan i think its a ps1? the stuff is on ashelf inthe garage!!
