Say, does anyone have the link to a calculator that compares ETs on different days? Also, how to get historical records of atmospheric conditions? Thanks!
You can research any track in the U.S. and some in Canada and Mexico. Then input the date and it will give you atmospheric conditions by the hour. That calculates Density Altitude. You can correct your timeslips with it.
Ok, figured it out! Found the density altitude calculator (DA) and entered the weather info and it spits out DA. Then enter DA, time and trap speed. It gives me a corrected time and speed. According to this app, I shaved off 0.23 seconds from last year.
So roughly a 1/4 second. Gas tank was about the same level. Almost a year apart on times and the car may be running slightly differently. I don't think it's out of the question to say I could have picked up 0.3 seconds with the converter. I think that's pretty good for a low HP motor with a crappy cam.
