Hey Fritzenchopper... you should call in a portable sawmill guy to slice up that old growth oak. About 25.00 bd/ft right now.Cabinet makers love the stuff. ws

You shouldn't have tried to trick Pupster with the fake "Fetch the stick" bait and switch. That'll teach YOU to play tricks... Fetch THIS stick, Fritzee!!!

Who knows, ppl buy old cracked up rotten wood from barns with nail homes and what ever else in it, and stuff that sank to the bottom of lakes years ago

Naw,I totally hear you and would seem it would sell but our larger oak (28ft in circumference) I called several places and they told me even though “old growth” still considered “house trees” & the risk of ruining a blade large enough to cut it to “nails, barbed wire, embedded chains & bullets etc” was not worth their risk.
Oh well, another tree on my list to cut up and burn,my car should be done by 2050 lol

    Fritzentrainer,

We rescued a Belgian Malinios after having German Shepherds for years.
Lots of police departments use Belgians because they can actually get bigger than GSD's. And when you're taking down a 6'8" methhead, a little more size is a good thing!

Anyway, this dog was @ a year old when we got him. Named him Sherman after the tank. One day we came home to find that the terrible two's had set in. He had shredded the back and two top cushions of our leather sectional sofa. Seems that his favorite toy ball had rolled under the couch and he couldn't reach it, so he went after it another way....:eek::eek:

A couple weeks later my wife took him with her to a job site for the day. Well something broke on one of our machines and she had to go pick up parts. She only left him in the truck long enough to walk inside, pick up the order, and leave.
While she's standing at the counter a guy walks in and says: "I'm glad that's not my truck, there's a dog out here shredding the inside of a truck!!" Separation Anxiety!!

My wife looked out the door and saw this 3/4 ton pick-up shaking, rocking and twitching as Sherman was using all of his 130 pounds to rip the headliner down, shred one of the seats and destroy a door panel!! He actually ripped or chewed thru a seatbelt....

He was happy with his new home and his new playmates, but he was not happy about being left alone.

The last thing he really tore up was a mattress. We thought we were over the "don't leave me alone stage", but we came home one night to find all the covers yanked off our bed. There was a hole torn thru the mattress about the size of a softball. Well, Sherman's favorite squishy red ball had rolled under the bed just out if his reach so he started drilling down to get to it.:D:D

We had him for 13 more years after that and I can say he was the smartest, funniest, best, most protective and loving dog we've ever had! I still have that red ball, too.

...metal detector. Mills of all sizes deal with this. I have a 2-3' dia oak in my woods with barb wire buried a foot in. A fence line, there are others...:(

Yes Sir, Philip, I rescued an abused tan mixed Chow Chow called him Leo and ohhhhh boy yes, same separation anxiety!
Pulled a section of our porch post and railing, chewed through light gauge fencing and dug other one, also annihilated the interior of a parts car at my buddies paint shop while we made a quick run for some grub and maaaaaany other things (lived vertical blinds!) siiiiiiigh. Like you though best damn dog we have ever owned. Caught a guy in the office area(cash box) of our warehouse and kept him there screaming for help till we figured out what going on . Leo had every tooth in his head out and guy smartly didn’t move except to scream like a girl lol.
Any demo jobs I went to in abandoned buildings where bums were laid up and stripping copper etc Leo had my back, was a good good boy and watched over our kids too on our 5 acres.
We will see how Rosie does, she is a chewing MACHINE (laying at my feet now enjoying an empty crunchy water bottle! Bet that’s tasty but whatever lol).
Lil stinker gave me a “courtesy wake up call” via my sock!
I was still wore out from all I have been doing with girls outta town for the week in Daytona (dance intensives daughter won) anyhow Rosie wasn’t cutting me any slack as you can see, took her out and she immediately did her business, I laid back down and woke up to her quietly laying on a blanket next to my bed. GOOD GIRL!
