Could be. Finding one that's not chipped or excessively worn is what you want. Get more pics from the seller, or find and buy a whole 350 2bbl and you'll have all kinds of parts! Somethings not right in his pic, the cam should not stick out farther than the gear surface. Maybe his fuel pump eccentric isn't installed.
I just purchased a distributor drive gear from TA Performance a couple weeks ago. TA 1399 part number, $65. More than the used part you found, but you know it is good.
