Are there other hood hinges that are interchangeable with 68 Buick riviera

Trying find out what other years and models hood hinges that will fit my 1968 Buick Riviera .

I once had a 68 Riviera with 2 different hood hinges. Never could find a match for either of ‘em. I was told that those hinges are a one year only part, but bigger brains than mine may weigh in with more information.

 

I hope not ..bout go junk yard tomorrow and seeing what I can pull..I wonder if toronados match are cars ?

 

Good luck Silly! How do you know if the hinges are bad?

 

The spring popped out plus the bracket bar is bent ..so hopefully I find a match tomorrow ..

 

I recently parted out a 68 Riv and should have saved the hinges---will check.

 

Dont have any spares. I know where there are some but the guy wont get off any of his stuff. FWIW I believe 69 will work also

 

If you don't find a set I have a 68 Riv parts car.

 

1387100 RH = 68 Riviera only

1387101 LH = 68 Riviera only

69 Riv hood hinges carry different part numbers.

 

What about 1970?

 

I ended up finding driver side from a 68 rivi up there and its fits my car perfect ...I checked all the toronados and Cutlass's and Skylark and lesabres from 66-70 and none even have the right bolts holes for the brackets in case anybody ever needed to know ..

 

FYI, 68 LeSabre, Wildcat, Electra and Riviera all use the same hood hinges.

 

No --68 only.
