Are the door panels for a post car and a coupe the same?

    In the process of tearing out the interior, and while I'm in there I'd love to replace the door panels, but I'm not sure if they are the same as the coupes.

    No, they are different. Legendary makes door panels for some years.

    As noted above, no they are different.

    Also the metal piece at the top of the door panel is notched at both the front and rear for the framework that goes around the window so you cannot use these from a coupe or convertible, as they will not fit.

    You should be able to order new door panels from Legendary WITH the correct upper metal pieces already installed. If not,I have the rear 1/4 pieces from a 70 post. I just kept the upper metal section.
