Are exhaust manifolds interchangeable?

I've got a 69 Buick 350 with a very damaged driver side exhaust manifold. I've found a manifold off a 72 Skylark on eBay, but on it's list of vehicles it works with 1971 is the oldest model of any model.

Did the heads change between 69 and 71?

Also this is a fsj 69 J3000 camper special, if that matters.

yes. interchangeable. in my experience it varied on what side had a bevel at the outlet and which had the heat riser.
use them remflex gaskets.

 

Its hard to say if the j3000 uses a different manifold. Post a picture. The jeep stuff may be different on the outlet. But otherwise the port design is the same for all 350 engines and can interchange with slight differences as in a exhaust crossover valve.

 

I just took off my exhaust manifolds and they include the heat shield on the driver side. They are off my 1970 350. In case you are interested.
