Are 14" Wheels Worth Anything?

I'm tired of tripping over a bunch of stuff and a full set of decent driver 14" chrome Buick wheels are in my way. I tried to sell them a year ago and got nothing in the way of offers.

Is there any reason not to sell them for scrap?

I've also got a smog 455 iron intake that is going to meet the same fate if it has no value.

Nope, just good for the centers but nobody is making reproduction wheels anymore .

Too bad about the 14s. I also have some that I have been saving. Refresh my memory. Are 60s Fords the same pattern?

Pretty sure 60s Fords had a 4 1/2" bolt circle

Only reason I save my set of 5 is that they are the originals to the car.

They might be cool on a boat or utility trailer?

I took a set of four to the GS Nats in BG two years ago. They sold fast. I was asking $150 and got $125. They were nice driver quality.

What are the letter codes on them ? Should be 2 digit! Number codes? Should be 3 digits ! A example would be JJ 914 for pre 1978 !

My set of 4 (5th went with the car on the original spare when it was sold) have all kinds of numbers on them:

    B 14x6 JK
    810 M4
2 (The 2 is under the M4 but will not post that way)
    Made in USA 8 A

Plus a couple of symbols in circles that I can't type.

Not sure what all this means. They came on my '72 S1 convertible.

    Cheers,

    Richard

I'd sell mine cheap if someone wanted them rather than sell them for scrap but I'm not going to ship them as that's way more trouble than I'm willing to endure. I'm pretty sure I asked this a few years ago as they were with my 1971 GS 350 that the guy threw in. I'm sure they are all later model Regal wheels.

So, anyone within 20 miles of I-65 between Bowling Green, KY and Louisville, KY, give me a shout.

Or do I need to do a parts for sale ad?

They are worthless. Even worse besides trailer tires or a performance type tire, cooper cobra or bfg etc, there is almost nothing available for tire sizes. It was much cheaper to put 15s on my 66. All i wanted was a normal radial.

I would buy a set of painted 15s or maybe a pair of 14s if anyone is close. Really want a pair of 15x8s.

Thought a guy cut the center's out and welded into new rim shells. And offset could be requested. When their all gone that's it. Like above, someone will buy them. Bring them to the 40th Nats. Lol... you need to come anyway. I like the Idea of matching Car Hauler rims.

I sold a set 14s for $200 about a year ago on CL to a guy in MI. He drove down to pick them up. They were nice and had no center caps.

I was happy someone could use them.

    Hi,

As been said tire sizes are limited on the 14" front tallest I've seen is 225/70 or 245/60 a d both are shorter than original size tires.

Maybe someone who is looking for correct numbers. I know a friend was looking for a set of 65 as guess there different than most

    Regards,
