I would strongly disagree your honour.... https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1970-BUICK-GSX-STAGE-1-222160
Wait, what do you mean missing Stage 1? It doesn't say it in the auction that it is a Stage 1 but the under hood presentation is Stage 1. Actually if it was a standard 455 it would be rarer I think. Not sure if that 1 of 14 is 4 spd Apollo White GSX 455 or or Stage 1.
No, it don't state that it is a Stage 1, that's why so rare, I say its perfect for me IF IT WAS A STAGE 1 car. I am going by the title, not pics, I would think if it was a Stage car it would be advertised as such, maybe, maybe not...I'm confused.
I have a question . Where do they get their figure that it is 1 of 14 being white with AC ??? I didn't think the #'s were able to be broken down that far . I thought you can tell the # of white ones vs yellow ones , Stage 1 vs plain 455 and Auto vs 4 speed .
So in other words they are using the numbers of the cars registered in the GSX registry and not the number that were actually built ???
Sorry guys, yes I need a lesson on quoting, not sure what happened but I was referring docgsx post. I hate to see a lawyer putting a price on something they no nothing about especially when it’s relating to divorce.
Just read the ad again and no mention of the stage 1 option, I see the chrome valve covers and air cleaner decal. Did I miss it somewhere? Fairly important to mention it? Gordon
Based on the info on the GSX statistic Register there are 14 non stage Apollo X's 21 total are 4speeds, 38 Auto with console, and somehow one is shown with just th400 "no console" not sure what's going on with that one but a total of 60 Apollo X are currently registered. Why you wouldn't display it as a non stage I have no idea
