Anyone use an accusump?

I know that road racers swear by these things for preoiling on startup and for maintaining oil pressure while driving:

Considering the oiling problems inherent to the BBB's, is anyone out there running one of these?

    Just curious.

    Oooo, Ooooo, Oooooo.....ME!

With the accusump (actually a Moroso Accumulator though in my case), a remote Moroso filter mount, "long" System1 filter with -10AN lines and fittings and a TA 8qt pan I have in the neighborhood of 13-14qts. Also there is a one-way check valve (small in-line red canister about a $90 by itself but necessary!) to prevent the pressurized oil in the Accumulator from going backwards into the filter instead of directly into the engine as it's suppose to.

I really like the piece of mind one of these provide by being able to pre-oil before start-up as well as having it in case of the pick-up itself being un-covered and gulping air.

Here's a pic of mine mounted in car without engine at the time.....

I also have a Moroso remote electric solenoid (Pt.#23905) to replace the manual valve that comes with the Accumulator I'd sell for $50 if you're interested in it (Jeg's sells for $99)? Hardly used, works just fine just don't need right now. Here's a pic of it.....

I'VE USED THE MASTERLUBE SYSTEM, THAT'S AVAILABLE IN
THE NATIONAL DRAGSTER, WITH GREAT SUCCESS. I DON'T
KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MOROSO UNIT BUT I'VE HAD RACERS TELL ME THEY THINK THE MASTERLUBE IS A BETTER DEAL.

    HOPE THIS HELPS
