My 65 Skylark is called "Big Bad Barry" My son (who was 4 at the time) picked it - he wanted to give the car a name so I said it should start with a B cause it's a Buick. Named after the biggest, baddest fish in the fish pond of his favourite cartoon at the time - "Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom"
My Rivs color is sunset silver... which is kinda pinky so I call her rose. (French for pink). She sat for twenty years so she was “dusty rose” Then during bodywork she was “rusty rose” and when I get her on the road she will be known as “ WILD ROSE”.
Just the BAD LAD and the BADLASS. Like to do a sportwagon (GS style!) or a Wildcat ragtop... thatll be BAD GRAM... ws
Plan B. Brought and raced my GS at Yellowbullet Nationals in 2017. Was upgrading my Chevelle and was not ready yet so we brought Plan B. Name stuck.
What my wife nicknamed my '72 GS may not be appropriate but - u substitute in the quotes with a colloquial name - the "Red lady of the night". Why? Because of the money I spend on it.
Officially the green car is known as "The Rusty Hulk" or "Rusty" for short, though more often than not it goes by "YOU PIECE OF ******* ****!!!!" The white car is known as "Elsa". She's too sweet to talk mean to. But more often than not it's green car and white car (or as my little guy calls them, green boom boom and white boom boom).
Haven't named any of my 71/72's, but my 87 silver turbo limited was named "The Beast" by many people, usually its victims. My license plate on my 72, formerly on the 87 is/was "QIKBUIK", which I pronounced " Cue-ick Bu-ick"..
My 70 has been called Big Red since I got it in 1980. The wife calls it the other woman. She has christened the 71 4-speed Shifty. Since they are both red, sometimes I refer to them as the new car (71) and the old car (70).
I know it's a Studebaker, but the name of my car was Buick driven. I put a hemi-killer cam in the 430 I put in the stude when I built it. When I did the race car look on the rebuild of the car after I totalled it years ago, I was gonna call it the Hemi Killer. But when you go hunting, you don't always kill something. So we decided to call it Mr. Hemi Hunter.
