Anyone else racing tomorrow at Lebanon Valley?

Headed up early tomorrow morning for the races, hoping to enter the Riviera in its first 1/4 mile event. Is anyone else planning on going that I might see there? And what car could I recognize you by?
    Thank you, John

Quite excited. I hope there's some other Buicks there because the last time I tried to go I had some nasty tire balancing/alignment issues and couldn't get it to track straight in the spring at our May 26th event.

If I get under 15 I'll be happy but I'm expecting high 16s. Can't have my cake and eat it, but I'll enjoy the ride. :)

DISECT THIS FOR ME PLEASE! I'm so excited!
I know my top end with 15mph is not good enough, so I ditched the air cleaner and fattened it up with smaller secondary rods. Looking for a 14.5 or lower by the end of the day

Youre doing great for your first time in a big ol' Riv! Congrats! Numbers look about right to me....whats your total timing at? Boost your front tires up to about 50 psi if you haven't already, stage shallow if you aren't (barely turn the second staging light on), and pull EVERYTHING loose you can out of the car (spare tire, floor mats, etc.).

Thank you! It's at 34* total

And if you're just running time only, try leaving just as you see the 3rd amber light up to experiment. You want that reaction time under .1 when it comes to bracket racing....try going up to 35 or 36 total and see what happens. Listen for pinging, though.

Thank you, I'll try that. I actually remembered I'm running 35* total, my bad. Maybe I'll stick with more fuel and more air before more timing, we'll see.

Also try less timing. You never know until you try.

You should be mixing in some race gas as well. You may not hear detonation at WOT with a helmet on. The race gas can save your engine if your timing is too aggressive.

.055 reaction is very good when you are new to it.
    Keep having fun

Well, where'd you end up? Get that 14.5?

I never did. The volume of people racing Saturday made it impossible to go again. To give you perspective, it was 3 hours and 50 minutes between my two passes. I might wait to go back to the strip with the car until the spring and then try to cut deep into the 14s and possibly into the 13s with cam, converter, blocked intake heat passages, and whatever it takes.
