Anybody got a 73 LeSabre/Centurion 4 door hardtop? How do you like it?

No, because the production was mixed.
They built Centurions and LeSabres at that factory (and maybe also other Buick models o No, so car # 100001 could be a LeSabre, car # 100002 a Centurion and so on.

 

Oh I see so at most it was the 230th one built but it was the 230th car built in that plant in that year 71, right?

 

get the 59. Those cars are killer! My dad had a 59 electra in 1968. He still talks about it to this day. My mom and dad both have the same quote whem reminiscing on the tremendous behemoth. "Man that sucker really laid on the road". I can still hear moms voice saying that. She was a great woman, I miss her dearly.

The 59 is one of my "bucket" cars, always wanted one, never found a decent one that was affordable, always found either rust buckets or badly reworked garage queens. This one might be the closest I'll ever come, but it's a pretty low-end 4 door sedan with no visible options. It's probably Canadian made in that it doesn't even have a day/night mirror and it looks like half the interior lighting wasn't installed. Be that the case, then it's unique but worthless. Add to the fact that they were notorious rust buckets that rusted like shipwrecks within a few years, I'm really trying to talk my way out. So far the seller hasn't responded to my question about the floors, which will make my decision a lot easier if they're rotten. And, judging where on this earth the car is currently located, a very good possibility to the point of being even money.

your self talk is very convincing..... after reading it I get the feeling that you can do better you just have to believe. I say hold out for a better one just make up your mind that you really want one and it may find you. It could happen. Good luck.
