I have it listed on CL for 7000.00 However I told the guy right up front I didnt really expect that, just a a place to start. He didnt like this and that...picked and poked at just about everything . Sort of guy that knew everything about anything. Spent an hour, 10 mile test drive. I agreed to 5500.00 without the new tires and wheels,(he didnt like them) putting the stockers back on. Seemed like a done deal. He wanted to go get something to eat and was supposed to get back with me around noon. Sent me a message at 12:05 that he was going to pass.

The best part was when he was bashing Q jets.. Hard to start, pumping the peddle, unreliable ect.... Walked over to the 85 Riv that had been sitting there several days, Reached in and turned the key through the window and it started and idles smooth as silk. The look was priceless.

If I had 5500 to spend on a new vehicle right now that thing would be sold.;)

Even with the high mileage the body is solid(looks solid in the pics anyway) and the mechanical stuff is super easy on those trucks. Especially when I have a couple of K-5 Blazers with a lot lower miles on them with the bodies ready to fall off of the frames for parts.

Was the Q-jet added with the "new" engine? A '91 should have the 2bbl TBI. Wouldn't even matter to me was just curious, I have a low mileage 454 BBC in my rotted out motorhome that would run good in that thing.

The Suburban has the TBI. He was looking at all the other Buick stuff I have around here and running down the QuadJet's Was telling me all about the 65 wildcats with the clam shell headlights. Just smile and nod! I'll deliver for the asking price and a plane ticket home

    I love my 93 3/4 ton, 4.10 gears, 8 lug wheels, 2WD.
Has 454 diesel.....just kidding might as well be....385 torque at 1600. Hp is only 230 at 3600. Shifts full throttle at 4000. Works well for towing though....

I wish it was for such a noble cause as adding another Buick, but alas, it is not the case. I had to recover the cost of the equipment that my company supplied which was traded to get the truck and the extra equipment purchased to replace the first install when the elderly owner decided that having a heat pump connected to the house keeps her awake at night. Thats right, 2 Rheem package units. I do have the first sitting on my trailer waiting for a buyer slightly used but in like new condition. There was a bit of extra profit that will go into the Wildcat.

Couple of Spanish guys came about 100 miles and did a very good job of trying to haggle me down 1000.00 under the asking price. I stood my ground and settled at 400.00 over my bottom dollar. Also gave them the used tires and wheels that were on the truck when I got it. I had no need for them and really didnt wanna store for a indefinite period of time.
