I ordered me a pair of Pirarucu,...the wife gave me the silent treatment for a few hours so that was a bonus as well ha , I just started getting back into them, my pop has 2 pair of croc, several pair of ostrich, and few pair of lizard. I'm not the only guy that will spend stupid money on these things am I??
I had to stare at a $150 pair of Ariats for better than 6 months before I could finally talk myself into buying them. Them fancy things are too rich for my blood!
These are "going out" boots so they'll last forever, my work boots only last about a year and I gotta buy more, last pair ended up being Dan Post they were around $220, but I'm rough on shoes Im walking on concrete constantly
Nice boots!! Look up Tecova boots. I was a Lucehesse guy until I found these....every bit as nice for half the price or less. Enjoy.....oh i have 4-5 pairs of going out boots so I understand.......
The Luceheese are super nice I've tried on a pair but didn't pull the trigger,..the ones I ordered are Los Altos, they feel great almost as good as Anderson Bean
I wear Red Wings all day, every day. But at night... Cowboy boots are just about all I wear. Have a black Ostrich pair, couple of plain ole bull skins, a pig skin pair. But my major splurge was a pair of Stingray boots. On the outside they feel tougher than spray-on Rhino Liner but on the inside they are as soft as butter!! I'll try to get a picture of them....I get compliments every time I wear them.
see I have bad luck, I'd buy something nice like that take the wife and step in a big ol pile of something first time out. maybe some day when I get older there will be some fund do stuff like that. right now I have to scrap and hide money to pay for racecar upgrades. but they sure look nice I will say that
When I was 23, I bought a pair of lizard skin boots. That was 30 years ago... Still have them. Boy, do I remember every scuff mark that I made on those!! (I was single at the time of purchase.)
These are made by Los Altos, I guess I've had 'em for 15 years. They are as tough as iron!! But feel like the most comfortable foot-glove ever made! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~And Ethan...I highly recommend that you also buy a pair of these cedar boot stretchers. Help them keep their shape and absorb any moisture and odor after you've been wearing them.
Yes, they will...but you may not be able to get into them. Have pair of custom Hyers from '60s that don't fit anymore...
As a reptile fan I say no. I prefer to just keep killing cows. I like a good burger as well. Sorry Vegan weenies.
Hardly exotic other than the price tag but losing toes to frostbite in an inferior boot would be a higher price to pay! https://www.sportiva.com/nepal-evo-gtx.html
I have two pair of Dan Post Lizard skin. One pair I bought 28 years ago and one pair my daughter gave me for Christmas last year. Mikey
Not boots but my dress shores are Mezlan. Bought my first pair about 22 yrs ago for about 275 bucks and still have them, only resoled once and I bought another pair for around 475 last year. Very comfortable and worth the money.
All I wear are boots. Mainly Ariats, buy a new pair every year at about $200 a piece. Work gives me the money every year, it’s either spend it or lose it. This pair of boot I have is on year number 6 and about to be retired. So I have a few pairs of going out boot and a couple back up steel toe work boots.
Tax free weekend baby,...the wifey gonna be pisssed In all fairness it was a hell of a deal,..the ostrich Tony Lama "usa made" and the Seabass are Corral "Mexican made" got both for $483 out the door.
