Any mods to capscrew rods for ARP Bolts?

    I remember something about needing to drill out or modify the capscrew rods to use new bolts. Is this true or am I imagining things? 20191015_170348.jpg

    I think there’s a 5/16” bolt set and a 3/8” set, but I could be imagining that too.

    On the cap you have to chamfer the bolt hole a bit to clear the shoulder under the ARP bolt head.
    The machine shop can do that for you when they resize the big end, which has to be done anyway.

    Yip ran them for years till I went to Hershe rod.
