Any good junk/salvage/pick n pull type yards in Iowa?

As far as I know, there is maybe 1 that even has anything older than 1990 in it that I've seen. I think Iowa is the worst state when it comes to lack of junkyards. Any input is appreciated.

 

I'm south of Iowa city 25 miles and don't know of any.

 

The $350+ a ton scrap a few years back cleaned out lots of yards. There is Doug's in Pella, IA. Where in the state are you MrSony?

 

check www.row52.com. Probably mostly late model stuff, though.

 

what happen to the 2 in fort dodge, one to the south side by the river and the one to the west side that was hard to get in to???

 

Didn't know those ones existed. Never really go out to Fort Dodge.

 

waterloo had a great one as well, lots of 60's and 70's stuff

 

I've been here twice this summer and I didn't see anything great Buick wise. He has a lot of stuff there but most of it is rotted pretty well and he wants gold for it all. But, he does have a lot of old iron setting there.
