Any differences between 68 and 72 Skylark seats?

I have a quick question for you interior experts! I have a 68 Chevelle Concours 2 door hardtop. It came with Buick interior. I have bucket seats in it now, but want to put it back to original, so I am looking for the split bench seat with fold down armrest. I know it didn't have headrests, but I found a seat from a 72 Skylark that looks like it should work, minus the headrests. Does anyone know if they are pretty much the same dimensions from 68 to 72? If so, can I just buy 68 upholstery and have it put on the 72 frame, without the headrests? These damn seats are hard to find around here. Thanks

I have done similar things and you should be able to delete the headrests and recover that seat with 68 covers. Where are you located?

Too far away. My friend might still have his black bench from his 68 Chevelle, but we are in Pennsylvania.
