Any Car-Related Things to Do in Atlanta Next Week?

I'm burning off vacation days I won't get paid for and will accompany my wife to Atlanta for three days next week. I'll have a car and was wondering if there are any car-related things to do while she's attending conferences and lunches?

I figure I will go to Stone Mountain if the weather is nice but I'm not aware of much that isn't generic touristy travel junk.

 

Hey Greg, not sure if there is anything during the week going on, just be real careful driving. It can get pretty crazy when you're talking about the 285 perimeter and Stone Mountain. They do have a CarsnCoffee event on the northside, but I think it's the first weekend? If I see anything I'll share it.

 

Thanks. And I'm well aware of the nonsense that is traffic in Atlanta though mostly from passing through at a low rate of speed. Our daughter used to live in Jacksonville, FL so we did that drive a dozen times.

Not car related! but try the https://www.punchline.com/ comedy club! it is owned by a H.S. friend Chris Dipetta
It is the premier club in Atlanta area.....it sports a dinner facility as well

 

You can go check out the Dukes of Hazzard filming locations, maybe jump your rental car?

 

Unfortunately, they have nothing going the days I'm in town. <sigh>

 

If you are a race fan, Talladega is about 90 minutes or so away from Atlanta and they have a pretty cool museum with a bunch of old nascars.
