I tried to cover and protect the headliner while the body was being painted, but it has quite a bit of dust on it and maybe some overspray. What have people used to clean their headliner ? And has anyone ever dyed the headliner. Large piece to get a consistent look. Thanks

try some mineral spirit....try on a small area first ..... take your side lace off and try there

but if your front/rear glass is not installed yet ...imo get a new headliner

Frank, my front and rear glass have to come out for a reseal when I get the top painted. Should the headliner be done at the same time? Is that necessary? or just a better way to go.

if your going to change headliner its a bit easier to do without the front/rear glass

Good to know. I've budgeted for resealing the windows, painting the roof and doing the headliner this summer. Now I know to coordinate the jobs. Starting at the top and working down as I can't have any water leaks as space in the garage is at a premium and it may sleep outside some days.
Didn't mean to hijack the post.
