Alternator wanted for 1970 GS Stage 1

    That’s probably for a 69 but like someone said before I have found electrical parts can be from months before the car was built. Since it’s the same part number it would be the same. Electrical parts are Not like engine parts that tended to be much closer. I wouldn’t pass on some of those earlier date coded.

    Make sure the one you get has the big double groove pulley on it. It’s actually the heavy/Ac unit so it came with the double pulley. A non Air Stage 1 used the outer groove in the pulley only. Don’t think that’s wrong and don’t use two belts like others have in the past.

    Thanks for the info. I would have switched pulleys. I looked at a non AC Stage 1 with dual pulley and thought it was incorrect.

    I found a H code alternator.
