Just went from mechanical to electric fuel pump, planning on putting battery in trunk in the future. Was curious how many amps would be recommended for alternator output?
Apparently my stock alternator has had enough and I need to upgrade that as well..... thanks for any and all replies....JIM

Put one of those Mini 100 amp jobs on. Should be enough for now & any maybe future additions.

I was going to go with a 60 amp , then decided 100 would be better, especially since I may put the battery in the trunk at some point in the future.

It is one wire capable, so I'll look into that....internally regulated.. I am still running an original stocker... Jim

I had swapped in a 42amp stocker I had in stock , while waiting on Fedx to deliver my 100amp , so I could run the car up to Buickrats Goffstown garage to get a much needed inspection sticker on Wednesday.
Chased down my delivery, and installed new 100amp Tuff Stuff 10si altenator today, did the few wiring changes to accommodate the modern altenator and took her for a shakedown cruise.
Lights , camera, action all good ta go...Jim
