Yup...went to the first game ever played at the Dean Dome. An enterprising underclassman offered to sell me an expensive #2 pencil which had a game ticket attached to it. perfectly legal...nothing to see here. Scalping a ticket?Nosiree Bob!

Uh-Oh! Don't let the scalp police find you!

My buddy from college still lives in CH (retired dentist) and they have season tickets, and have since about 1973. I go up every now and then for a game; same people in the group that has the tickets...about 10, I think, so always nice to see everyone. We are all old and retired now, but there is nothing like Carolina basketball no matter where it is played.

FYI, my buddy was the one who created the "leave" plan for the parking lot at the Dean Dome. After a game when it first opened, he called the Athletic Dept. (he was a former Carolina FB player) and "helped" the people in charge with a better plan for emptying the lot after a game. Not sure if it is still being used...I will ask him when I call him over the weekend.

    Go Heels!

I have never approved of anti-scalping laws. Ticketmaster has been doing it for years and nobody arrests them. If you choose to pay a premium for a ticket, it is a transaction between a willing purchaser and a seller. That's called free enterprise. If you are so desperate to see a show or game that you will pay ten times the face value of the ticket, go for it! Just don't complain about not having enough money.

I use my mower more in the fall than any other time of year. I blow them from around the house and mow them til they are either in the woods or turned into yard mulch. I rarely have to rake anything. I have a 48" Exmark walk behind. Not much stops that MF.

I've been known to cut a tree down and then drive it over the top of the tree until it's mostly gone. The blades are 3/8 steel and sharp as hell.

Last weekend I dealt with 15 inches of wet snow. Most trees here still had their leaves, which caused many broken branches and fallen trees due to heavy snow. It's been estimated that 10%, or about 30,000 of Winnipeg's trees suffered serious damage.

Today there's no snow remaining, save for what was piled up by the plows.
