It's nice here as well, but the Wildcat is stuck outside in the rain for the moment.

Try not & let those wet leaves stay on the car too long & BEFORE they have a chance to dry or more than likely will leave spots/marks.

I gave the roof two coats of wax and the car will be instorage for the winter next week. Only the roof is repainted, the rest is still original paint which is well past caring. I will clean up the car before storage.

Exactly! Cut the grass one last time, drain the taps front and rear, put away the garden furniture, rake leaves, dig out the shovels and have a big bag of salt ready. And try not to fall on my 63 year old ass when the snow flies.

Saw them in college...1966? '67? Got the ticket stub somewhere.

They were about 2 hours late, but we did not care. We won the football game that day, so...

Great show--unlike some performers, they REALLY SANG LIVE and those harmonies sounded so good in "little" Carmichael Auditorium.

    Thanks for the memory!

It's the neighbours tree pooping on my car. many species of trees in the hood and some loose leaves right away, others still green. My maple in the foreground hasn't lost a leaf and is still green.

Yeah, they actually had a "throwback" day recently where they played a game there instead of the Dean Dome. Musta been neat...I remember it like it was yesterday. The pull-out seats we sat in shook like mad when the games got exciting, and there was not a stadium in the ACC, including the dump down the road, where the noise was louder.

I taught the Smith kids in the local Jr. High and Scott used to leave a ticket for me every now and then when he was turning numbers on the floor and did not need his. Other than that, it was up at 5:00am and standing in line at the window. We lived on Gimghoul Rd back then, so a short walk, but it was COLD! One of the reasons I came to SO FL in '72 after getting another degree. Drove this down, by the way, pulling a small U-Haul:

Dean Dome is fine, but I miss the old place!

    Go Heels!
