This is usually a really good show. Sponsored I believe by the LA chapter of the BCA. Anyone going? Roll call? (include the car(s) you are bringing)!!! 1. Mapearso (66 Skylark GS Convertible)
Hmmm, Sunday. I'll be putting my engine in, I hope. My switcheroo work on the Skylarks is about 8 miles from there. I might swing by to see what is going on when it gets up to about 100+. I won't be working on them even in the shade after that. Whatever you do, don't leave your vehicle on the street in front of the park! I got a ticket last time I went. The red painted curb is right at the driveways only, no marking for hundreds of feet in between, and with all the tree stuff hanging down, a pile of people got tickets. I tried to fight it, but the City of LA is just a bunch of liars hungry for revenue no matter how crooked they have to be to get it. Just a word to the wise.
I believe the temps will be down a bit by Sunday. And, yes, there is a lot of shade there. If I come by it'll have to be in my econobox, or maybe my '70 Chevy truck. I don't think I'm going to have my '68 ambulatory by Sunday. This concussion has put a serious dent in my work capabilities.
