The ROA mag had a advert in the back saying there was a group going to meet up before the show to ride in together. Any other board members planning on going?
I got an email from one of the ROA guys that lives in Ocala. He says there will be at least 10 members attending the show. It would be cool if some of the V8 brethern would show up. Its not far from the Orlando or tampa area. Check out the link and sign up.
Maybe next year.... I have wanted to go to this show since I first heard about it three years ago. We always forget about it and try to go to the BOPC in Orlando - can't do two trips in the same month. I'd love to see some pictures if you go!
I got my Reg card in the mail yesterday. I'm # 0915 and I regesterd 2-3 weeks ago. There will be close to 1000 cars at this place. Gates open at 8am.The free entry cut off was 500. So I guess I have to pay 21.00 to get in but we still get the free passes.
Show was yesterday. The sponsor said a total of approx 670 cars showed up. I was by far the biggest show I have been apart of. I was placed in a class called "Big Car"59-70. a big class and it was participant voting. The Riv didn't place but was voted best Buick in Show. I was very surprised. I counted about 27 Buick's. 14 were Riviera's.
Ok U asked for it. There were so many cars that it would not have been practical to take a pic of every one of them but you get the idea from the ones I posted. My daughter has some more on her camera I will put up later. There were several national mags there and some professional photographers were taking pics of my car and asking many questions. who knows, She may end up being published in a mag.
