Interesting... There is no 1973 Buick data. And they list the 455 compression ratio up to 1974 as 10.5:1. I don't think that is right? Anyone? Didn't they drop to around 9:1 in '71 and by '74 the 455 was down to 8.5:1 or lower??? Still, OK info.
NHRA specs.... Are not the same as the original factory specifications. NHRA lists the limits of overboring, compression ratio, etc. to keep cars legal in "stock" classes. These are the specs that a car can be blueprinted to and stay legal for NHRA class racing.
