Yep It's that time. The Portland Area Chapter of the BCA is hosting the annual All Buick Show at Pearson Air Museum in Vancouver, WA this coming Sunday - the 16th. Show runs from 10 to 4 with the gates opening at 8AM. See many great Buicks and enjoy the Pearson Air Museum all for one price. Awards in over 20 classes and great raffle prizes as well. On site food vendors - everthing you could ask for including parking on the grass. North or south on I-5 to downtown Vancouver and take the Mill Plain exit. Head east on Mill Plain and follow the Buick signs. Hope to see everyone there. :3gears:
I will be there for sure!! With a little luck I'll have the brakes fixed and find some seat belts to put in the 64 and take it. If not I'l be there as a spectator. Should be a great time either way.
Talked to the wife about it last night, I am in! I am sure there will be several of us coming down on Sunday together in our 1955-61 Buicks.
Great! Looking forward to seeing everyone. It is supposed to be in the low 80's - perfect car show weather.:kodak:
There will be a caravan leaving around 7 am from the Tacoma area, more details to follow Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. We will be leaving the McDonalds (I-5 exit 127, where Hwy. 512 intersects I-5) at 7:00 AM on Sunday, if you plan on meeting us please be there by 6:50. My cell number is 206-334-5220. Thanks, Chris
Can you Northwestern Buick guys please take pictures for all of us that cannot make it to this show. Thanks Dan.
Duke, Great show Sunday! Must have been about 100 Buicks? Was nice getting a chance to meet a bunch of Buick guys from "down South", and several of them Board members here. Quite a few very nice cars too!
My camera took a dump on me. Good show with lots of nice cars thought. Just wish I could have gotten mine on the road for the show. Next year thought!
It was a great show. Met a few guys from the board. I got a few pics I will try to get them up soon. I was shocked when I got 3rd in my class, first time I ever won anything in a car show. Thanks Duke that was a lot of fun.
Thanks for coming to the show everyone - it was great!! We had just short of 100 cars from 1913 to 2009. Sorry I didn't get to spend much time with all the great people that showed up - I was kinda busy. We did a great little cruise on Saturday night and had about 26 cars. It was like a parade with people coming out along the route to wave at all the great Buicks. Still trying to unwind from the whole thing. I had a friend take pictures of the class winners on my camera - so I will put them up in the next couple of days. Again thanks for coming everyone! Hope to see you again next year.:TU: :TU:
I will be at the show again next year, only this time I will have my car!! Good show. Nice spot for it.
Here are some class winners from our show last Sunday in no particular order. Strange looking GS Chris!:TU: That '67 is a great car. That's our own Sportwagoon in the wagon. That's a pretty cool vert that keeps showing up in the background.
