You better bolt on a pit bull and a rotty too, because if this mutant is back out on the streets he might be back for more.

Don't you love our ability to rehabilitate habitual offenders? Works real well.

I'm just glad you're kicking butt again. Your car is beautiful.

I saw your car during the summer while I was testing the railroad crossing at the bottom of Forsgate. Made it hard to concentrate on what I was doing. It was absolutely stunning. It's a shame that there are dirt bags out there who would do something like that.

Terrible thing that happened to you. If you may need any more parts or documents on your beautiful car maybe I can help. Good luck to you and to hell with the crooks.

    Hey Eric,

My engine combo, 455 stroked to a 482, 11.1 comp. Jack Merkel Performance 455 stage 1 heads fully ported and polished, ( Jack has a few tricks he does with the buick heads), T/a 308 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, T/a intake and a 850HP carb and MSD ing. Torque converter is dynamics, 3800-4200 stall, 400 trans, (soft shift) and a 373 gear. The car is 4080 lbs with me in it. It ran 10.90 @ 124mph. That was with a clutch fan and a 175 stat. Never overheated even on a hot day cruising the shore. I now have a new short block with more compression, and I am bolting on T/a Stage 2 heads full ported by Jack Merkel, My goal is 10.50 @ 130mph. The combo fully tuned should go 10.0, we will see. I have already gone 10.80 @ 126mph with the my stage 1 heads and a smaller cam then the t/a 308 on the new block and a slipping trans. The upcoming should be fast and fun. The last race day at atco I lost third gear on the first run , then for my second run, I made some rear suspension adjusments to try to hook the car better I destroyed a Moser axel, ( It exploded, its in about 500 pieces). The adjustments worked, Maybe to good. If you need help with your combo call me @ Wager Racing and performance 732-841-2121.

I just read this thread for the first time. Although, we've had our Buick for 40 years, I've only been on this board for 6 months. Is, this a great board!?!? Glad things have worked out for you.
Under 11 is Fast ! :TU: Nice Car You Have There :TU:

LowFlyLark Time for a mild custom.

First time seeing this post. Terrible 5 years but a great ending.

Willie, thanks for the update. Great numbers for 2 tons of steel and I'm glad you decided to keep the color. (one of your posts hinted at green. I love green but the car had too much history to change it) All show and big go. Fantastic.

Just read through this entire thread...the pics of how you found it would have brought me to tears were it my car but it looks beautiful once again! Is the rollbar custom or from someone like S&W?

Wow, that is such a horrible story. It's awesome you got it back, but you still have no idea who stole your drivetrain? The incompetence of some police officers frustrates me to no end... You need a gun, and if you ever see someone strange hooking up to your car again, shoot first, and ask questions later. If the police aren't good enough at their jobs to catch a car theif who left fingerprints, then they aren't trustworthy enough to trust with anything else. This is why gun control makes me mad. It's not like civilian morons with guns are any worse than police morons with guns.... I don't think badly of all police officers, just the ones that can't do their jobs.

Willie actually got some/all of his drivetrain back and he helped get the loser arrested while he was driving around with Willie's engine in the back of his truck. One of them actually had Willie's rear end in his car and Willie was smart enough to have previously marked his stuff and was able to prove ownership to the cops based on that.

Makes me consider engraving or stamping my name into all major components of my car before I reassemble it!
