I am sorry I cannot donate a part to your rebuild but I have a GS BB convert cross member on Ebay . I missed your thread noting you got the car and eng-trans back . I can make a good deal if it doesnt sell on ebay . I have to let it go I think it has 2 more days
Hey Willie, I'm glad they caught the scum that took your engine. I'm glad the Monroe Police were doing there job. A least we have two more **** bags off the streets. Good Luck!!!
THATS AWSOME !!!!! Congrats on some GOOD luck for once for you Willie ! If there is going to be a lynch mob anytime, or any other kind of "do it yourself justice" taking place send me a PM, will drive down from New England for some "batting practice" !:spank: :spank: :spank: I will bring my like minded Buick friends as well, us northern rednecks get lots of pent up frustration in the winter that we would LOVE to vent on some deserving scumbag !!! :af: All the best !!:TU:
HEY GUYS, THE Monroe Police recovered my stolen engine and trans, turns out the Stupid shitbags that stole it did not even use it! It was in storage all this time, They just painted the typical **** bag way, black and gray primer, I took the engine apart and went through it, stripped the paint off of it , and its already in primer, it will be put back in the car in a few weeks, and running. more up to come!!!:3gears:
Send it to the coppers, if they haven't thought of it yet, it may give them probable cause to go in there and search.
Good to hear that you are still recovering parts. Hopefully we'll get to see you at some events this year.
The car was found - jut the trailer and parts were missing. It's a couple pages back in this thread. Coming to Yardley's in a couple weeks?
Marco I have been in touch with Willie a bunch of times and I have started a very nice article on this unfortunate event. Willie is also thankfull on the support and donated parts from guys in the Buick community. Have to say with all the minor petty BS that goes on between everyone at times, when the chips are down the Buick Community puts it all aside and stands tall on helping out collectively. This story hits home with all of us, knowing quite well it could have been anyone of us going thu this. Only exception is this story does have a happy ending. Think about it...what are the chances on recovering a pristine, 10 second 1971 GS Stage 1 convertible, that had been broken up for parts and dumped.
I saw the begining of the thread and hastily replied. Any Buick in this part of NJ will get noticed by me as I am a Buick lover. i am here to help my fellow car people. I wish some street justice upon the theives.
My Buick will hold 6 lynch mob members comfortably, and has plenty of trunk space for rope.Just say the word.:spank: Dan
Hello Guys, A Happy New Year to all, Good news and better news, Herb white of Jamesburg Nj is in jail. And will be for a long time. Rumor has it he ratted on his Buddys, and is still serving a hefty sentance. Its a pleasure knowing that the big car thief man will also be serving another inmate as his wife. Wow thats awesome. There is a god. And better news, the car has had a complete body restoration, and will be painted Jan,2nd. What a way to start out the new year. I also have its engine and trans ready to go in. It will still take some time though, but I will be racing by the middle of the year. I will post Pics of the new paint soon. Willie:beers2:
That is great news to hear Willie...glad that you are making progress on the car. Looking forward to meeting you at one of the east coast events in 2008!
