I am trying to find out ideas for recording air/fuel numbers in a vehicle with no battery. I am looking for a system that would be used for tuning an engine that has 2 mechanical fuel limiters. I have no problem putting a sensor on each side of the engine. The main reason for this is we are going to a boost intake system. I am hoping that there is some good feed back on a hand held device. This is a race vehicle only so I am hoping there is a basic but accurate system out there.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The Innovative LM-1 needs some juice, but would not take much of a battery to operate. It is hand held, and can accept an RPM input so you can record a run and see the Air/Fuel ratio through the RPM range. After the run you can download the run to see what might need to be improved
