I pull my open trailer with my Dakota. With a car on the trailer the rear of the truck sags pretty low. My question is whether to install an extra leaf spring and make the ride stiffer or to add air bags and use only when loaded. Also any reccomendations on name brands of air bags if I go this way. Thanks Frank

Frank, I can't really advise you on which option would be preferable, but if you opt for the air bag route, I am a distributor of Firestone's Ride-Rite air bag systems, and I can get you some very good prices on their kits, with shipping from IN. If interested in a quote, I'll just need your vehicle info to check into it. For online information on their kits, see www.ride-rite.com :)

Will have the info in the morning! I assume you are looking for rear bags only, with separate left and right fill valves? Manual operation, or interested in an on-board compressor system? They do get spendy with the compressor kit added.
