? about '71 axles

    I recently bought an 8.5 Buick rear end with a 3.08 gear. Is this a 28 spline? Short of me taking it apart, I did not know if anyone knew off the top of their head.

    Yes, should be 28-spline axles.

    Scott,
    Sorry about not getting back to you,but I have had a whirlwind last 2 weeks.I have not been focused to well lately and confusion is running amuck in me.Yes the axles are 28 spline.So sorry to have not gotten back to you sooner.
