Well today was a sad day after 30 years of faithful and undaughting service "life". The 72 buick 350 was a great engine it drove past many broken cars down the side of the road " snivel snivel" She never left me stranded. Even on her last breath she took me home. Even though she had such a severe pain in her bottom end "rod bearing". May I say it was only 2 years ago she traveled to texas from the desert sands of california. She is survived by a her older brother "71 455" who is still undergoing surgury "rebuild" and here twin sister 72 350. Here sister will assume duties for her. While big brother is recovering in the hospital "garage". Thanks everyone for being here in the time of great sorrow.

  2. :ball: :ball: My deepest sympathies Phil...my "71 350" had major surgery 6,000 miles ago, and I'm hoping for many more years together. Are you "donating organs"?

I might have a few parts if you need something message me. I pulled the dipstick and it had a light hit of metal on it.

Greeving, Oh poor 350, greeve ...

  4. Well Phil, what I really wish I had was a spare 350 to tinker on in the shop I don't have yet. Yours is a little far away though... What I REALLY wish I could afford to do is swap a 455 for my 350, but it's just not in the budget :ball:

Where are you located in the upper midwest? I'm about 50 miles north of St. Louis MO in Illinois. I have a 350 engine if you're at all interested, but you'd have to be in driving distance. If interested e-mail me at gber2@irtc.net
