While building a fuel system for my Twin Turbo Skylark I found these fuel tanks that are ready for EFI and can even be ordered with fuel pumps kits for any application up to 1000 HP. I am using a carb still but my fuel demands are far beyond the stock pickup and lines so I am using an EFI tank, 10 AN lines, and a massive in tank fuel pump.... I wanted to avoid fuel starvation issues when I leave the line and this should do the trick... I will still keep 1/4 tank or more just to be safe... For me a fuel cell was not an option as I want my trunk space and I also was not willing to sump the stock tank and give up my "sleeper grandma car look" from the rear of the car... Tinting the windows to hide the roll cage....:Brow: http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=results/category_id=152/home_id=143/mode=cat/cat152.htm
Yeah they look sweet. If I were starting from scratch I'd give one of those a shot and skip the Spectra.
Looks good but a bit pricey and I don't like the look of it: https://www.yearone.com/Catalog/196...el-oem.style-fuel-tanks-without-sending-units
Looks good but a bit pricey and I don't like the look of it: They are pricey but they are the best and believe me...that pic doesnt do the product justice. If you ever see one for yourself you will understand what I mean...the welding / machinework is amazing. Explore the website...these guys get around and have a great reputation. I have to say the link you posted does have a good product and quite affordable. Regards, 455NGLIDE
I'm curious how the filler is "connected with a rubber hose"? Just hack off your OE one and connect it to the tank with a short hose and hose clamps? Might think that a mod to secure the neck to the body would be required. JW
They said that the top part of the filler is included but yest you would likely want to secure it somehow but that would be easier than modifying a stock tank to work for an in tank EFI system... It is not ideal but a good option anyways... They said this was due to the various different filler necks on te different year tanks... A person could also weld on thier old neck too...

We are talking about "Tanks" who is the company making the tank that I was reffering to when I started the thread: http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=results/category_id=152/home_id=143/mode=cat/cat152.htm
