i'm told i have a buick 9 3/8" axle in my 61 buick hearse. i cleaned the bottom off and found a big 11 in yellow paint and a 07 with a 3 under it (307 gears) i'm told. and under that a 1 01 meaning ? and that big yellow 11 meaning ? anyhow i have a non posi, i was told good luck finding a gear or posi unit. dose anyone have one, or know where i can find parts? i was told these were made from the late 30's until 1976 so i dont understand why it would be that hard to find, thats alot of years, and tons of vehicles. someone must have one somewhere
