Anyone have a pic of an 86 Century GS that I can use for my avatar? I would like a full size one for my GS files on my puter.
    Thanks,Pat:TU:

    WHY?
I probably have a pic somewhere, as a friend of mine had one, bought new, and another friend has one and a whole mess of parts for sale! RV

    Roberta,
I had an 86 back in 90-91 and my idiot ex-wife killed it in a bad accident. She totalled it and I only have 3-4 pics of it and would like to have one for a file to download. It was a sweet car and I sure miss it.Was looking to get another one but couldn't find one since there was only 1029 produced. So I bought a 71 GS 350 instead.Did you know that the GS option cost $3,895 bucks for this car? I know because I have the original buildsheet and window sticker for my car. Price for mine was$16,105.If you can get me a pic I will be very happy.

    Thanks,Pat:TU:

I too had a beat up 86 Century GS with NO options other than the digital dash. I owned it in the mid 1990's and bought it from my brother who picked it up as a repairable and hung a quarter on it. It was always capable of burning the tires. Best time I got out of it was 15.8 seconds in the quarter. But it got 27 miles to the gallon! Eventually the tranny, starter and the steering rack started to go at the same time so I sold it to someone who is doing a motor swap up to a gen II 3800. I want to find a cleaner one so I can put a supercharged 3800 in it! That would be twisted.

Here is a picture of it from the "good" side. Some days I miss it. Why I don't know.
