Is this not a good kit? What do You recommend? That's the first one I saw I'm still looking.

Looks fine. Are you in some sort of rush?:) Monzaz might be able to make you a better deal.

No, not at all, this build will take awhile but i need some guidance and im excited to make a parts list. Do you specialize in rear ends Monzaz?

You need to concentrate on one thing at a time. Slow down.

Yeah I know, I just want to make sure each of these pieces(engine, trans, rear end) will work together in the most efficient way and i like doing research and understanding. Right now im physically only working on tearing my newly acquired 455 down.

The 8.5 10 bolt was used up through the 90's. Parts are no problem. You can get them virtually anywhere. I suggest you concentrate on the engine first. Decide on a machine shop first.

Used them for a spool, gears and aclean for a 9". Had to order a second shim kit 2 be able to get everything in spec. Does now run ok, but what a long time consuming thing

oH I am sure I can not beat that price... lol. I do not know what parts they are using to get the prices that low...lol. :) Jim

TexasT Texas, where are you from

You can be sure the low price parts come with a pain or two. Buy once, cry once is generally a way better plan. Give mr monzaz or Mr trick a call and get the "good" stuff. No sense in doing this more than once.
