hey ,got a regal with a pontiac 400,dont know anything about what it has for springs f/r .and would like some ideas on what to use,but without spending alot of cash,this is my daily driver but want it to act right when i takeoff,i dont think my car is reacting at all,no up or down any where,and am haveing traction issues,but it goes streight! i have boxed the stock upper and lower controll arms,and plan on using air bags to help if needed after i figure out the rest,i can get a great deal on stock type springs,what car could i use as a good match for MY car's needs?if that makes sence?or any thoughts are appreciated. Instant center on a g-body is actually behind the car with stock suspension mounting points. You could try the LCA relocation brackets to get the IC closer to where it needs to be. A big rear swaybar helps a lot, and the Moog cargo coils work good for a stiff spring. Try www.hrpartsnstuff.com or www.umiperformance.com for the relocation brackets, www.fullthrottlespeed.com for the rear swaybar and your local auto parts store for the springs.
thanks for the info, but i dont have a need for stuff like that,i think if my car had the proper set of springs it would fix my traction issues fully ,it dosnt react because i think the previous owner put the biggest set of springs he could shove in there,as it sits,its at the top of its suspension travel in front,and its actually 1"higher in the front so it sits kinda tarded,so i believe that a proper set of springs would help a ton to transfer the weight ,raise the front and plant the rear? better shocks r coming also it has sensatracks on it now,its not horible but all of 1st is loose,and thats really where it counts for me,the launch,if i can LAUNCH harder id have something here,its tough getting 400 fpt to hook off the line
