Man, I wish you weren't so far from Ohio.

Scott (pphil) and I have come to an agreement on the sale of the car. Barring any unforseen problems, the car is sold. Thanks to all that showed an interest in it. I was really wanting to keep a car this nice in the V8Buick family if I could, and now it is going to happen. Scott, Thanks again, and I will be talking to you soon. Later, Randy

Congrats to pphil on the purchase, nice companion to the Cat.
Like others,I saw when you posted this car for sale on the V8 ads, like them,I lack the room or the time to jump on another car at this time.Believe me,if it wasn't for that,I would have bought that car a while back.I also wondered why it took so long to sell, great deal. Those cars are not seen enough and they can be good performers too.

I am just glad someone here on the board got the car. While we were loading it up at a gas station a few blocks from my house, a young man came by and started asking me about it. I opened it up and let him look it over. He was nearly drooling by the time we were done, and when I told him what it sold for he just shook his head and walked away.
Scott, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Later, Randy

    car arrived today
it had less rust than i expected
i was hoping to remove the top and have windows that went all the way back but after removing the trim ring i dont think it is possible
so i will leave the top on and build a granny sleeper

there is a 76 (Skylark) in the local yard here (Las Cruces) Yard owner probably would let it go with Buick V6 (if anyone wanted that) for well under $1000. New Mexico metal, window channels, cowl/firewall, subframe mounts, floors, lower quarters, door shells, pinch welds, trunk floor and drop offs all no rust.
