Gary, do you mean you added a low washer indicator to your 75? I have thought about doing it but I haven't found floats that were deep enough to be used in the 75's washer reservoir. Where did yours came from? Is it the float type or an aftermarket one with metal wires? How did you install it?
It's strange that 75-76 Buicks had a washer fluid indicator in their dashes but didn't have the option available!

That's interesting! What does your car's twilight sentinel looks like? Where is the sensor? How does the light switch looks like? I have never seen this option a 75. Don't you happen to have one of these for sale? I just bought a part of it on Ebay but I'd still need the delay switch, the wiring and the sensor...

Are you sure that 4 doors were available with sunroofs? My documentation lists it only for two doors in 75 and 76.

Here is the number and % of 1975 Electra Limited 4 door hardtops produced with each option.

    Phillipe,

On my 1979 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency the sensor was in the dash top, facing the window. I remember holding my hand on it when I was entering tunnels, otherwise it took up to 30 seconds to switch the lights on.

The control was on a ring, incorparated in the light switch ring that you also use to dim the dash light or turn on the interior light.

You could use this ring to set the time your lights were left on after you stopped the engine, or switch off the system totally.

    Here's a Cadillac switch:

I think it was the same on 75's but I have never seen one with it. I might be wrong but I think that this was available only as a dealer installed option on 75 Buicks.

    park options

have listed as many as could in this line the last list is great in % form, the numbers on Prk Ave production are as follow, wh-9 bench seat 588 produced, w-10 buckets 6042 , trim codes 381 blue, 386 saddle, 388 black, 389 burgundy, ....W-18 Park ave deluxe 37 , for a total of parks produced at 6667. the park ave package was as follows with air-restraint wheel add 1629.00 with out air and tilt-tele add 1718.00 to the Limited package, , the astro roof could be ordered on 4 door but was a 2 door std option page item . Mind the 60 40 seat was not available till march of 75 due to complaints to buick about the console, and was offered on the third revision of the order form. Making the bench park more rare, for 75-76, more 76 benches were made than 75 due to longer year production, 1976 Christmas strike also stopped all 455 productions in the Electra bodys and after the strike was over the cars were all 350 electras though up till then the 76 was optional 350 at 1 mile more per gallon epa than 455, craig

i just happened to be in the junk yard and the 78 olds tornado had the ww bottle mounted on the fire wall. i noticed that it had a indicator for low fluid. i grabebed the bottle and bracket and the wires. there was one that went into the dash but it was the fiber optic cable. the rest of the wire get their power from the ww motor. youve got to do some pluging and it should work ive got 75% of it done. in gonna switch the ww motor also so it works for sure. it was also one with time delay.after i need a socket for the optic cable and there i will be done.

    Park Ave seats, comfort

The interior of the Park Ave First Editions were made by Flexsteel and are the most comfortable seats I have ever had, even the Cadillacs I have owned do not compare, the newer parks 77 on are horable seats compared to the 75-76, you sink in and can travel for ever, with the 6 way seats its like being in your lazyboy at home, Only one car showed to the Columbus Nats it was a blue interior white car, and no other parks have shown up since to the Nats (BCA), Had my red one at the regional midwest in Minnesota, and many electra owners thought I doctored it up and was not factory, not many have seen the park seating and console, All those who have Park Ave in the First Ed, please answer up. thanks craig

This reminds me that a 400 (Pontiac?) was supposed to be available in 75 Electra but 0 Limiteds were ordered with it...

About the 76 455, do you know when it came back as an option after the strike on the 76 Elecra? In Canada, the 350 wasn't supposed to be available in the 1976 Electra just like the V-6 wasn't available in the LeSabre.
My former 76 Electra Limited Landau Custom coupe had this serial number: 4X37Y6H557717, I think it was produced relatively late in the production run and it had the 455.

The Sloan museum sent me the revision 2 of the Wholesale car order and they couldn't tell me what was the "C" option my car had in the "R" section. My car has the light monitors (R 3) but their documentation mentionned "R C"

Do you know what it could be?

I know my car has the Z 49 code which is the "Canada Equipment Modification" It deleted the starter interlock on cars without air bags and it included French information about the "air cushion restraint system" in the glove box as well as french translation of "UNLEADED FUEL ONLY" below the license plate: "ESSENCE SANS PLOMB SEULEMENT"
It isn't mentionned anywhere on the order sheet.

Both 75 Park Avenues with the saddle interior had this shag, did some Park Avenues miss it?

    shag carpet

yes, the shag seemed to disappear, and plush replaced it, the 76 park I now have is a old mans car with 76,000 on the car and has plush, and no rug mill nation wide is making the shag offered in the eldorado, fleetwood, seville, transam anniv, ed; the small k car luxury ed by chrysler all had the shag but they say there is no demand and will not restart production on shag , I need a new Black set for the 75 exe deluxe car, Im stuck till then.
