On my '76 originally when I use the brake or turn signal only the far left and far right bulbs work, the center bulb is just a running light. So is this the same for the '75 too? Do all three light up when you turn now?

The 75 and 76 are the same, there are 4 bulbs in each taillight. Only the two outer ones are the stop lights/flashers.

    Garyd,

I e-mailed Chris some time ago about the total price for an 8 light system, including shipping costs to the Netherlands. I posted the link to this tread in my mail, and he just answered me back with info on the price.

    He also typed:

"Thank GARYD for his patience....." :TU:

also i forgot to mention, i had to use the electronic flashers from trident i think part number ev12 on both the hazards and the regular flashers. im gonna make little steel boxes and weld them inside the car to prevent the modules getting dammaged by anything. the also have a kit to make the third brake light flash also. im gonna get that later.they are cool at night when you turn

    Moving lights, 75-76 buicks

Have 4 Park Ave 75-76, and have thought of also, but, the federal law of moving lights on cars other than factory installed as " T-Birds" and "Cougars" were, is now illegal and can not be used on road use vehicles. Most states also ban most neon colors due to Police, state plows, state service cars etc, use blue, red, white and consider most purple even a blue tone . Wisconsin troopers use blue and Minnesota uses Blue in Plow trucks, so all blue dots and neon other than yellow in front and rear and red in the rear is illegal, including moving license frame red leds , becareful check local laws, would like to use a Whitney kit they have for a running lamp display and hook to my Buicks but do not need the horassment from uncle sams little brothers, craig

So for the '75 and '76 Electra, do you have to modify the brake lights so you get more than the outer two lights illuminating when you brake?

You need the same bulb sockets that you use for the combined lights already on your car (with 2 wires on them). Easy to find on GM cars in a scrap yard. Connect the wires like the wires on the combined bulb sockets and you're there !
(don't forget you need combined light/brake light bulbs now in all bulb sockets)

About 13 years ago, I almost bought a 75 Park Avenue with saddle interior, Wire hubcaps, beige exterior and a brown top. It was loaded with most options including the air bags but it lacked the speed alert and fuel usage gauge.
The car wasn't for sale but the owner accepted my offer. He had to find another car to replace it but a few weeks after, the car was totaled in a parking lot by a man who had a heart attack while driving his car.
The owner didn't think I'd still want it so he sent it to the junkyard. When I called him back he was sorry to hear that I was still interested and a few months later, he saw a 76 Park avenue for sale and called me back. The 76 was black with N96 hubcaps, a red top and interior. It also had a console. It was in better shape than the 75 but wasn't as loaded and was a lot more expensive!

There is presently a beige/brown/Saddle 1975 Park Avenue for sale in Montreal. The car has been for sale for at least two years and the owner has lowered his price but he still wants 8500$ canadian for it. It has something like 44 000 miles but the paint isn't nice, there is minor rust on it and a few sratches.
It is also a well equipped one and it has most options. Missing are the fuel usage gauge and the heated glass defogger (it has a blower). Here is a link to the ad in french: http://www.lespacs.com/fr/acnov.asp?cat_id=15&Sub_id=188&ad_id=235687&v=291

Do you know which options were included in the Park Avenue Deluxe package?
I know it included the console, Automatic Climate Control, AM-FM stereo with a power antenna, posi rear end, bumper guards, whitewall tires, light monitors and tilt/telescopic steering if air bags were not ordered.

I'd be interested to know which options your Park Avenue Deluxe has.
    Thanks

If you have digital pics, you can send them to me by email atphil.racicot@gmail.com, I'll post them for you.
I'm looking for an option that my 75 doesn't have, twilight sentinel, do you have it in one of your cars?
Here is another link to a webpage with information about my 75 Electra and the % of cars that were ordered with most options. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/770691
